Matt Sleeman is the Vice President of Engineering of Motorway, the UK’s fastest-growing used car marketplace. Matt is responsible for leading Motorway’s engineering team and technology strategy, ensuring the company continues to deliver cutting edge technology to make the car selling and buying process as seamless as possible for car owners and dealers.

 

Motorway’s Product & Engineering team comprises over 120 engineers, designers, data scientists and product leads focussed on driving continued improvements to the customer experience. Founded just over five years ago, Motorway has pioneered an online-only approach to the used car-selling process and is now the UK’s fastest-growing used car marketplace. The platform connects people selling their cars directly with a network of more than 5,000 verified car dealers, matching each seller with the dealer who most wants to buy their vehicle. This new approach means sellers get much more for their car, from the convenience of their homes, whilst dealers have a new way to easily acquire quality stock online, direct from private sellers.

 

Prior to Motorway, Matt was VP of Engineering at tech company HealthHero and previously spent five years at Just Eat as Head of Engineering.
